Turkey publishes pictures of two PKK weapons raids in northern Iraq

On Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense published pictures of two caves used by the terrorist PKK organization as a weapons depot in northern Iraq.

The ministry said in a statement that the Turkish forces found the two caves while combing the area as part of the “claw-lock” operation.

The Turkish forces found 359 light weapons and hundreds of ammunition inside the two caves in the areas of Zab and Afshin.

On April 18, Turkey launched Operation Claw-Lock against the strongholds of the PKK terrorist organization in the areas of Matina, Zab, and Afshin-Basian in northern Iraq.

Turkey is carrying out operations to combat the “PKK”, which targets its forces and citizens, and is active in several countries in the region, including Syria, Iraq and Iran.
