According to information from the data of the Aegean Exporters’ Association, Turkey continued its trade with more than 120 countries in the 2021-2022 olive oil export season, which ended on October 31.

According to the information, olive oil exports increased from 44,000 tons to 58,000 tons, an increase of 32 percent compared to the previous season, and increased on a value basis from 134,877,000 dollars to 201,687,000 dollars.

The United States of America came on the list of countries importing Turkish olive oil at a value of $75 million, followed by Spain with $24 million, Japan with $17 million, Saudi Arabia with $10 million, and the UAE with $5 million.
