The current number of new types of Coronavirus (COVID-19) that was seen in every 100,000 people for 7 days has been announced.

The number of cases per 100,000 people per week reached 359.99 cases in Istanbul, 247.68 in Ankara, and 161.92 in Izmir.

The provinces with the largest number of cases

According to the weekly data, Istanbul, Kastamonu, Tekirdag, Zonguldak and Erzurum were among the provinces with the highest number of coronavirus cases among 100,000 people.

In this context, the number of cases per 100,000 people was 340.08 in Kastamonu, 318.48 in Tekirdag, 309.37 in Zonguldak, and 303.58 in Erzurum.

The provinces with the fewest cases

According to the weekly data, Sirnak, Adana, Mardin, anlıurfa and Van were included in the list of governorates with the lowest cases of Coronavirus among 100,000 people.

The number of cases recorded 36.08 in Sirnak, 61.41 in Adana, 62.36 in Mardin, 66.89 in anlıurfa and 71.95 in Van per 100,000 people.

The number of cases increased in only one county in the weekly case number map.

The number of cases in Ardahan, which was 251.66 in the week of April 24-30, rose 1.65 percent in the week from May 1 to May 7, to 255.82.

“Our determination is to reduce the number of cases,” Health Minister Fakhruddin Kujah said in his message on social media
