Parliament Speaker Şentop made a statement to the press with his son, Omar Asim, who obtained al-Hafiz’s license.

In reference to the achievements of the “incentive training project” that was implemented in Imam Hatip schools.

Şentop said that thanks to the project, students received conservative training while attending their schools on the one hand, and it continued as follows:

One of them is Marmara Anatolia School Imam Hatip Ito, and my son is also in the eighth grade in this school, and he is preparing for the entrance examination for high schools.

It started in the fifth grade, and completed in about 20 months, and there is no loss in any year here, this is a very good project.

Because families and children who care about school success when it comes to a break in school do not like school success, such as taking a break from school and completing a Quran memorization course abroad.

This is the fifth year and I think it gave me memories, as there were such projects in schools elsewhere in Turkey.”

“I congratulate our 133 children who have completed their memories”

Noting that one of the 133 students who received his son’s approval at the ceremony is President Erdogan’s grandson.

“Of course, preservation is a very important issue in our history and civilization,” said Şentop.

“Omar Tayyip Erdogan, the son of Bilal Erdogan, the grandson of our president, has completed his memorization, and congratulations to the 133 children who have completed their memorization, and one of them is Omar Asim’s son.”

Referring to the importance of Hafez’s training since the Ottoman era, Shantoub said: “In 1650, Oilia Chalabi said in his book“ Siyhat Namah.”

“There were 9 thousand Hafiz in Istanbul, of whom 3 thousand were women, at a rate of 2.25 per cent, which is a very high rate.”

Şentop explained that the idea of a Hafiz training project in Imam Hatip schools belongs to President Erdogan.

“In all of our religious texts and in the social and cultural life of our nation, conservation is a very prominent virtue, it is an attribute.

And the opinion on this project is our president, I thank him as a parent, and I thank our ministers from national education and our teachers and school directors for applying this.

Turkey, on this issue, “is the most important country among all Islamic countries.”
