Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mustafa Varank, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, Thani Al-Zeyoudi, met in the capital, Ankara.

And that the meeting, which took place in the Information Technology Valley in Ankara, was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Trade and the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic in Turkey.
The two sides discussed ways of mutual investment between the two countries, particularly those related to petrochemicals and renewable energy, and ways of cooperation in the fields of innovation, research and development, and the establishment of technology parks and joint industrial zones.
In a speech during the meeting, the Turkish minister said that his country is distinguished as a trusting partner thanks to its solid economy, strategic location and strong industrial infrastructure.

He added that Turkey has become a global supply center with a generation capable of providing relatively faster and better products compared to the rest of the world.
After the meeting at the level of delegations, the UAE minister visited the headquarters of the Turkish “start-up Roof Stacks” company in the Information Technology Valley, which specializes in MetaWars services, augmented reality, game development and financing technology.
Al-Zeyoudi also visited Ortum Electronics, a company specialized in developing high technologies and serial production in this field.

At the end of the meeting, the two ministers, Rank and Al-Zeyoudi visited the user experience center of the Turkish car producing company “TOGG”, and drove the local car.
