On Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the neutralization of 5 PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Syria.

The Turkish Defense stated in a statement that its forces “do not give space to terrorism or terrorists wherever they are.”
She added that the army forces were able to neutralize the five terrorists who targeted the “Peace Spring” and “Euphrates Shield” areas with firing.
Turkish forces, in cooperation with the Syrian National Army, carried out several operations in northern Syria against ISIS and YPG.
Through these operations, it cleared thousands of kilometers of land from terrorists, and provided the opportunity for thousands of Syrians to return safely to their lands.

The YPG represents the Syrian arm of the PKK terrorist organization, which is active in other countries in the region, including Iraq and Iran.
