Turkish Airlines won the “Mediterranean Tourism Award” at a tourism forum held in Malta.
According to a company statement on Thursday, Turkish Airlines won the award in the eighth edition of the “Mediterranean Tourism Forum” organized by the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation.
In his speech during the award ceremony, Turkish Airlines General Manager Bilal Akshi stressed the importance of the award granted to the company, according to the statement.
He added: “It is a great reward for us to see the fruits of our work, and it is a pleasure to be crowned with this important award from the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation.”
The Mediterranean Tourism Foundation has awarded the Mediterranean Tourism Awards every year since 2014, and is considered one of the most important awards in the field of tourism in the Mediterranean region.
