Turkey.. “Uludağ Exporters Union” reaped 3.1 billion dollars in May

The exports of the Uludağ Exporters Union in the Turkish state of Bursa achieved revenues of $3.1 billion last May.

The union stated in a statement on Saturday that the volume of its exports from various sectors during last May amounted to 3 billion and 147 million and 832 thousand dollars.

The federation revealed that the volume of its exports during the first five months of 2023 increased by 15.3 percent compared to the same period in 2022, to reach $14,988,893,000.

The value of the union’s exports from the auto industry in May amounted to two billion and 615 million 801 thousand dollars, according to the statement.

The statement added that the value of the union’s exports from the textile sector in May amounted to 105 million and 200 thousand dollars.

The ready-to-wear sector achieved revenues of $91,148,000 in May.

Yesterday, Turkish Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş announced that the country’s exports increased by 14.4 percent in May, to reach $21.7 billion.
