The industrial production index in Turkey rose last October by 2.4 percent on a monthly basis and 2.5 percent on an annual basis.
The latest data announced by the Turkish Statistical Authority, Tuesday, showed that industrial production during last October rose by 2.4 percent, compared to the previous September.
Likewise, the industrial production index recorded, during last October, a growth of 2.5 percent, compared to the same month of last year 2021.

On an annual basis, the mining and mining sector index increased by 7.4 percent, while the production and distribution of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning declined by 4.8 percent compared to October 2021.
The industrial production index measures the total volume of industrial production in the country, regardless of its price value, and is considered a leading indicator of gross domestic product.
