The Turkish agricultural sector recorded its highest value of exports in January 2023, reaching $2 billion and 875 million dollars.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Council, Turkey’s agricultural exports increased by 12.8 percent in January, compared to the same month in 2022.
The data showed that the agricultural sector’s share of total Turkish exports amounted to 14.8 percent.
Iraq came at the forefront of the countries that import the most agricultural products from Turkey, followed by Russia, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands.
