On Sunday, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his appreciation for Iran’s efforts to extend the armistice in Yemen, and stressed the importance of returning to the nuclear agreement between Tehran and the West through diplomacy.

This came in a statement by the spokesman for the Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, regarding the call of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian with Guterres on Saturday.

The statement stated that “the Secretary-General of the United Nations received a phone call, Saturday, from Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.”

He added: “The Secretary-General expressed his satisfaction with the extension of the armistice in Yemen, and his appreciation for the Iranian efforts in this regard.”

The statement continued: “The Secretary-General reiterated his position that diplomacy must prevail in order to return to the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (the nuclear agreement).”

Diplomats from Iran, the United States and 5 other countries have been negotiating for months in the Austrian capital Vienna on a deal to restore restrictions on Tehran’s nuclear programs.

In return for lifting the economic sanctions re-imposed by former US President Donald Trump after Washington withdrew from the agreement in May 2018.

On the Yemeni issue, the parties to the conflict agreed earlier this month to extend a humanitarian truce in Yemen for another two months, after the end of a similar precedent that began on April 2.

The administration of US President Joe Biden decided Friday evening to exempt Iran from sanctions on some of its peaceful nuclear activities.

This comes as indirect talks between Washington and Tehran regarding returning to the 2015 nuclear agreement have entered the final stage.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the US administration decided to exempt Iran from some sanctions over its civilian nuclear activities.

At a time when it is trying to reach an agreement with it on returning to the nuclear agreement signed in 2015.

According to documents obtained by the American newspaper, the United States will again allow foreign companies and officials to participate in Iranian nuclear projects for civilian use.

Reversing the Trump administration’s decision in 2020 to include those companies on the sanctions list.

This decision would pave the way for the resumption of those projects as part of a restored nuclear agreement that is currently being negotiated in Vienna in talks between Iran, the United States and several world powers.

Trump unilaterally withdrew in 2018 from the nuclear agreement and re-imposed most of the US economic sanctions on Tehran, and in May 2020 he also canceled the “nuclear waivers.”

These exemptions relate in particular to the Tehran research reactor and the heavy water reactor in Arak, which has been converted under the eyes of the international community in such a way that it has become impossible to produce plutonium for military use.

After Trump withdrew and reimposed severe sanctions, Iran gradually began to violate the nuclear restrictions stipulated in the agreement.

A spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Hamoud Abbaszadeh Mishkini, confirmed a few days ago that.

“The other party in the nuclear negotiations has so far agreed to cancel some of the embargo measures imposed on Iran,” according to what was reported by the (official) IRNA news agency.

In a brief press statement upon his arrival, Flick said, “I am happy to be here, thank you for this nice reception.”

It is expected that Flick and his wife will travel to Ankara later today, and Flick has been appointed to succeed his country’s ambassador to Ankara, David Satterfield.

Despite being a Republican, Flick supported Democratic candidate Biden in the 2020 presidential election.

Flick served as a senator from Arizona from 2013-2019, and was a member of the House of Representatives from 2001-2013.

A lawsuit has been filed in federal court in Washington, DC against 31 far-right groups who participated in the Jan. 6 congressional raid in the United States.

Karl Racine, who filed a lawsuit in federal court in Washington, DC, accused 31 members of the groups involved of “plotting to terrorize the city” and described their actions as an “act of coordinated domestic terrorism.”

Racine demanded the court hold members of the “Proud Boys” and “Oath Guards” responsible for the millions of dollars spent treating wounded policemen and money given to cops that were sent to guard the area against the Congressional raid.

In the United States, far-right groups and supporters of Donald Trump stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The session was held to confirm the results of the elections of November 3, 2020, and in the raid 3 policemen were killed and 140 policemen were injured.

Former President Donald Trump, who was tried for inciting rebellion over the raid, was acquitted of a Senate vote in February.

Democrats in the House of Representatives formed a committee and began investigating the incident, despite Republican objections.

The committee has summoned many close to Trump to testify so far.

Thirteen high-ranking officials including former US President Donald Trump, his top aides, and some ministers from his cabinet allegedly abused their positions in the November 3, 2020 election in an illegal campaign.

According to a report by Henry Kerner, head of the US Office of Special Counsel, the nearly year-long investigation concluded that senior officials in Donald Trump’s administration had violated “numerous” violations of the law.

Known as the Hatch Act, which provided for the separation between government duty and political action.

“Senior Trump administration officials chose to use their official duties, not for legitimate government functions, but to promote Trump’s re-election in violation of the law,” the report said.

Those accused of breaking the law included Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, and White House communications director Alyssa Farah.

In addition to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Senior Counsel Stephen Miller, Counsellor Kellyanne Conway, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, and Deputy Press Secretary Brian.

Also, Morgenstern, who is Vice President, Chief of Special Staff Mark Short, National Security Adviser Robert C. O’Brien.

In addition to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, and Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.

Dozens of Palestinian residents of Jerusalem demanded that the administration of US President Joe Biden implement its promise to reopen the US Consulate General in East Jerusalem.

Dozens of Palestinians have signed two letters that will be addressed to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, as well as Ben Cardin, the head of the Democratic Party in Congress.

Former US President Donald Trump closed the US Consulate General in Jerusalem in 2019 after moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in mid-2018.

US President Joe Biden promised to reopen the consulate during his election campaign, and later US Secretary of State Blinken announced the administration’s intention to reopen it without specifying a specific date.

However, in recent weeks, the Israeli government announced its opposition to this step, noting that it had informed the US administration of its position.

“We are writing to you as Jerusalemites to express our grave concern over the delay in the United States’ re-opening of the American Consulate in East Jerusalem,” reads the text of the letter addressed to Blinken.

It added, “We, the people of Jerusalem, believe that reopening the consulate in East Jerusalem would practically reaffirm the commitment of the Biden administration to the promise he made during the election campaign regarding reopening the consulate.”

And to affirm the United States’ commitment to the two-state solution and to consider East Jerusalem as part of the territories occupied in 1967.”

And she continued, “We believe that the credibility of the current administration is at stake and that acquiescing in the opposition of the Israeli government and its extremist president, Naftali Bennett, would strengthen the suspicions of Jerusalemites.

Which lies in the possibility of the United States playing the role of honest broker that we hoped the current administration would play.”

As for the letter addressed to Cardin, it stated: “We, the sons of Jerusalem and civil society institutions, believe that the speedy reopening of the consulate in East Jerusalem would restore a glimmer of hope to the Jerusalemites.

In order to restore what was cut off from the relationship with the American people during the past five years as a result of the closure of the American Consulate by the previous administration of President Donald Trump.

“We look forward to accelerating the procedures for reopening the US Consulate in East Jerusalem, as the capital of the State of Palestine,” It added.

Al-Quds activist Salah Zhaikah, the initiator of the two letters, said: “We believe that the reopening of the US Consulate in Jerusalem is a correction to a mistake made by the previous US administration regarding Jerusalem.”

He added: “The two letters are an expression by Jerusalemites of their aspiration to reopen the consulate as a symbolic measure with a political connotation that Jerusalem is part of the occupied territories in 1967.”

Zhaikah pointed out that dozens of Jerusalemites have signed the two letters so far.

He said, “The two letters will be sent officially if the signatures are completed within the next two days.”

A year before the by-election, US President Joe Biden’s warning came from the polls.

The Republican candidate, with the support of former President Donald Trump, won the Virginia governor’s seat, and the view is growing that Trump’s support among Republicans is growing.

US President Joe Biden also received a strong warning from the ballot box in Virginia, and the Republican Party candidate without a political background won the governor’s seat from the Democratic Party.

Former President Donald Trump also backed millionaire Glenn Youngkin, who narrowly won the election with 50.83 percent.

Voters also evaluated the performance of Biden and Democratic members of Congress over a 10-month period in this poll.

While 45 percent of voters hate Biden’s performance, 25 percent support him.

The majority of voters believe that Republican Yongkin can solve all problems except for the Corona epidemic.

The view that support for former President Donald Trump among Republicans is gaining weight.

He believes that Trump, who supports GOP candidates in every election and takes to the field in some, will accelerate these activities.

The Republican base supporting Trump is expected to spread its influence in Virginia’s gubernatorial elections across the country in the November 2022 congressional elections.

The United States announced Friday that it will reopen its doors to fully vaccinated foreign travelers starting November 8.

White House assistant spokesman Kevin Munoz said in a tweet on his Twitter account that the decision would apply “to both the air and land borders.”

He added that the new travel policy that requires full vaccination against the coronavirus for foreign travelers is guided by the rules of public health protection, and is “strict and consistent.”

On September 20, the administration of US President Joe Biden announced that it would lift the travel ban previously imposed by former President Donald Trump.

Starting in early November for travelers who have been fully vaccinated, it did not give a specific date.

But the White House indicated at the time that in addition to a full vaccination, foreign travelers would also have to show a negative coronavirus test result taken within three days before their departure.

In March 2020, the Trump administration imposed an international travel ban as the coronavirus pandemic spread to the country.

The ban was lifted from some European countries and China before it was expanded to other countries, including South Africa and Brazil.

Friday’s White House announcement resulted in a rise in airline shares, with “American Airlines”, “Delta” and “United Airlines” companies recording gains of more than 1 percent.

A written statement issued by the US Treasury stated that the sanctions imposed on the Iranian company “Mammut Industries” and its missile manufacturers, “Mammut Diesel”, were lifted.

The Trump administration placed the companies in question on its sanctions list in September 2020 on the grounds that they had “contributed to Iran’s nuclear business and malign and destabilizing actions in the region.”

It is noteworthy that the decision of the Biden administration came after the resumption of indirect talks between Washington and Tehran regarding returning to the nuclear agreement.

Former US President Donald Trump has left the Forbes 400 list of the richest people in the United States this year, for the first time in 25 years.

According to Forbes magazine, in a report issued on Tuesday, Trump’s fortune, estimated at $ 2.5 billion, did not allow him to be on the list for this year.

Trump ranked 339th in the Forbes 400 list last year, but his fortune has decreased by $600 million since the start of the Corona pandemic in late 2019.

According to Forbes, “Tech stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other assets have boomed during the pandemic.

But the real estate sector, which makes up the bulk of Trump’s fortune, declined, which drove him out of the richest club in the country.

From 1997 to 2016, Donald Trump held a place in the first half of the list, but things took a turn for the worse in the year he won the presidency.

After five years of decline in the world, rankings are now off the list.

Five years ago, Trump had a golden opportunity to diversify his fortune. After the 2016 election, federal ethics officials were pushing him to withdraw his real estate assets.

This would have allowed him to reinvest the proceeds into broad-based index funds and take a position free of conflict of interest, according to the magazine.

Forbes’ list of the 400 richest Americans is a list first published in 1982 and ranks the richest people according to their net worth.

Despite the fallout from the Corona epidemic, the 400 richest Americans saw their collective wealth increase by 40 percent over the past year to reach $4.5 trillion.
