Turkish Justice and Development Party spokesman Omer Çelik said that the attack on President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s approach to Palestine is “unfounded and unfair.”

Çelik confirmed on the “X” platform that President Erdogan’s clear position on the issue of Palestine and Jerusalem and his solidarity with the Palestinians in the occupied territories is “an indisputable fact.”

He pointed out that President Erdogan’s diplomatic efforts to stop the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7 and his tireless efforts at various levels are known to the entire world.

He pointed out that Erdogan “is the only leader who has expressed his opposition before the eyes of world leaders to those who describe the Palestinians who are resisting for their land and rights as terrorists, and history has recorded this position for him.”

He added: “Our president received the appreciation of the Palestinian people and leaders on every occasion for this approach and actual support.”

He added: “Because of his consistent approach towards Palestine, our president is being targeted by prominent names in the network of massacre perpetrators and the government of (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.”

He continued, “Despite all the attacks he was subjected to throughout his political career, our president did not give up defending the Palestinian cause, even for a single moment.”

He added: “Our president considers the Palestinian issue one of the basic elements of our national policy, and attacks on his position on Palestine are baseless, unfair, and have no justification.”

He stressed that “President Erdogan, as the voice of the Turkish people and the global conscience, is the strongest supporter and defender of the Palestinian cause and the oppressed people of Gaza.”

Since last October 7, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza that has left tens of thousands dead and wounded, most of them children and women, according to Palestinian sources, which necessitated Tel Aviv’s trial before the International Court of Justice on the grounds of “genocide.”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday night that Turkey had completed local elections in a manner befitting its democracy.

The Turkish President’s speech came in a speech he delivered from the balcony of the (ruling) Justice and Development Party headquarters in the capital, Ankara, after the majority of ballot boxes had been counted in the local elections.

President Erdogan explained that the Turkish people conveyed their message to politicians through the ballot boxes.

He said: “Thank God, we completed the local elections in a manner befitting our democracy.”

He added: “Regardless of the results, the winner of these elections is our democracy and our national will.”

Erdogan considered the March 31 local elections a turning point.

He explained: “March 31 is not the end for us, but in fact it is a turning point.”

He said that all voters in the elections won these elections, whether those who elected the Justice and Development Party or the “Public Alliance” (parties allied with the Justice and Development) or those who strengthened the power of the ballot boxes by using their democratic right to vote.

The Turkish President added that the Justice and Development Party did not get what it had hoped for in the results of the local elections.

He assured the Turkish people that the party would conduct self-criticism with full transparency and courage.

Erdogan stressed that his party has always shown respect for democracy and what emerges from the ballot boxes.

He said: “Today we act with the same sense of responsibility and do not recognize any force above the will of the people.”

According to unofficial preliminary results, the opposition Republican People’s Party topped the elections, obtaining more than 37 percent of the votes across the country, and the Justice and Development Party came second with more than 35 percent of the votes after 93 percent of the votes were counted.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday that his country will not stop until the Palestinians gain their freedom and establish their independent state.

This came during a speech during his participation in a mass gathering of supporters of the “Public Alliance” consisting of the Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement in the Sancaktepe region of Istanbul.

Erdogan stressed that Turkey is making intensified efforts to increase pressure on Israel after the UN Security Council ceasefire resolution in the Gaza Strip.

He added: “We will not stop until the Palestinians gain their freedom, regain their occupied lands, and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.”

He pointed out that yesterday, Thursday, Turkey sent an eighth aid ship to Egypt, carrying 125,000 food parcels with a load of 3,000 tons to deliver them to the Gaza Strip.

He pointed out that the unjust government of Israel, which does not recognize the law or sacred things, has been brutally killing brothers in Gaza for nearly 6 months.

President Erdogan pointed out that Turkey has so far sent, via ships and aircraft, more than 40,000 tons of aid to the region.

He stressed that Turkey is doing what is necessary to hold the perpetrators of genocide against children, women, infants and the elderly in Gaza accountable before the law.

He stressed that Turkey, with all its institutions, stands with Palestine, adding: “We are doing everything in our power, what we are able, and what our capabilities allow, and we will continue to do so.”

Erdogan explained that he, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the head of the Intelligence Service, Ibrahim Kalin, the Emergency and Disaster Agency (AFAD), the Red Crescent, endowments, associations, and donors are working and struggling for Palestine and Gaza.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that the implementation of the “Turkey Centenary Vision” in Istanbul will begin with the local elections scheduled for March 31.

This came in a speech he delivered on Sunday to a crowd of supporters of the Public Alliance as part of the election campaign of candidate Murat Kurum for the presidency of the Greater Istanbul Municipality.

The “Turkey Centenary” is a vision announced by President Erdogan in late 2022, which includes the programs and goals of the Turkish Republic in its second centenary.

At the beginning of his speech, Erdogan praised the city of Istanbul and “the greatness of its history and its geographical, cultural and civilizational status on the global level.”

Erdogan called on supporters of the People’s Alliance, which consists of the Justice and Development Party, the Nationalist Movement, and the Grand Union parties, to “work day and night” in order to collect more votes for the coalition’s candidate, Murat Kurum.

He continued, saying: “We must all rid Istanbul of the period of stagnation that lasted 5 years during the opposition’s tenure as mayor of Greater Istanbul. Therefore, we must knock on all doors, win hearts, and convince voters to vote for the candidate who will serve the city.”

Erdogan criticized the current administration of the Istanbul municipality, which is from the opposition Republican People’s Party, stating that it “has not been able to provide tangible services to the city’s residents.”

In this context, he referred to the services provided to the city of Istanbul by the Justice and Development governments under his leadership during the past 21 years.

He added, “In the past 21 years, we have made government investments in Istanbul worth 1 trillion 650 billion liras (the dollar equivalent).”

In this context, Erdogan enumerated the projects implemented by his governments in Istanbul, from health to transportation, education, infrastructure, airports, universities, and social services.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that Turkey is one of the countries that provided the greatest support to Palestine and showed the sharpest reaction towards Israel since the first day of the attacks on the Gaza Strip.

This came in a speech he delivered during his participation on Wednesday in an election rally for the Justice and Development Party in the state of Mardin, south of the country.

Erdogan explained, “The Palestinian brothers and the oppressed in Gaza always bear witness to Turkey’s support for their cause.”

He pointed out that the Islamic world received the holy month of Ramadan with sadness as a result of the continuing Israeli attacks on the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

He pointed out that Turkey sent, via planes and ships, more than 40,000 tons of humanitarian aid to the region to deliver it to the Gaza Strip.

Turkish Justice and Development Party spokesman Omer Celik said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements targeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are “absolutely nonsensical,” and pointed out that Netanyahu committed “the most brutal aggression in history” against civilians in Palestine without any discrimination.

“Netanyahu will be remembered with the hatred he deserves and one day he will be held accountable before the law for the war crimes he committed against humanity and the attempted genocide of Palestinians,” Celik said in a blog post on social media on Thursday.

He added: “The war that Turkey is waging against terrorism is the most legitimate battle in the world and is taking place within the framework of the law. Turkey’s war against terrorism is fully consistent with all the rules of international law. It is a battle against terrorist organizations that are hostile to humanity.”

He stated that “Israel’s occupation of Palestine is the longest in history and includes the most planned and systematic massacres.”

He continued: “While our president addresses the entire world in the name of human values and human conscience, Netanyahu represents all kinds of anti-human actions.”

He stressed that Turkey “will continue its solidarity with innocent children, women, civilians and the elderly in Palestine and will continue to struggle for the Palestinians to obtain their legitimate rights.”

The ongoing Israeli war against the Gaza Strip since last October 7 until Thursday left 21,320 dead and 55,603 injured, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to the Strip authorities and the United Nations.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that his country “will continue to stand by what is right and who has the right, especially in Gaza.”

This came in a speech he delivered on Monday during his participation in the capital, Ankara, in a program organized by the presidency of the youth wing of the ruling Justice and Development Party in Turkey in commemoration of the Turkish poet Mehmet Âkif Ersoy (1873-1936).

Erdogan praised Ersoy, describing him as “a great personality who deserved the title of poet of independence through his positions, wisdom, deep knowledge, and exemplary morals.”

He added: “Mehmet Âkif Ersoy stood by our nation not only with his pen and poetry, but with all his material and spiritual existence.”

Erdogan said: “We will continue to speak out through Akef for those who were killed, colonized and oppressed, especially in Gaza, and we will continue to stand by the truth and its companions.”

Ersoy is the author of the Turkish national anthem, in which he immortalized his nation’s battle after World War I, which culminated in liberation in 1921 following the Turkish War of Independence against foreign occupation.

Poet Ersoy’s poems dealt with social problems and philosophical, religious, political and moral issues.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that the positive atmosphere in the Islamic world will be reflected in Gaza and Jerusalem in the near future.

This came in a speech delivered by Erdogan on Saturday at the “Distribution of Science Endowment Awards” ceremony in Istanbul.

Erdogan touched on the events that Palestine has witnessed since 1947 and the problems that Turkey has faced in the recent past.

He pointed out the difference between Palestine in 1947 and present-day Palestine, and said: “What was it and how did it become? How did they colonize it?”

He explained that “International Zionism” is currently seeking to go beyond what it practiced in Palestine by drawing borders.

He continued: “No one can deny that Turkey had its share of this scenario.”

He pointed out that the Justice and Development Party governments paid heavy prices in this regard over the past years.

He said: “But we also succeeded in extricating our country from the quagmire in which it has been struggling for three-quarters of a century.”

He added: “Compared to what it was 20 or 40 years ago, Turkey is now freer with its democracy, security, economy, defense and diplomacy, and is able to look to its future with much greater confidence.”

President Erdogan stated that as Turkey’s strength increases politically, militarily and economically, the self-confidence of the people who pin their hopes on it increases.

He added: “There has become a much different, more positive and courageous atmosphere in both the Islamic and Turkish worlds compared to the past.”

He stressed that the liberation of the Azerbaijani Karabakh region from the (Armenian) occupation strengthened this atmosphere even more.

He continued: “Do not worry, the days when we will be able to prevent the unjust Israeli government’s massacres in Gaza and its transgressions in Jerusalem with the support of Western countries are near, God willing.”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories are the place where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is being blatantly violated today.

This came in a speech during an event by the Justice and Development Party on Saturday on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, corresponding to December 10 of each year.

Firstly, President Erdogan wished that International Human Rights Day would bring goodness to all humanity, especially the oppressed and persecuted.

He added that the text of the International Human Rights Day was ratified 75 years ago amid great hopes, pointing out that despite the passage of three-quarters of a century, this text still maintains its importance as a document in terms of humanity’s gains.

He stressed that this document continues to remind the international community of its responsibilities since its announcement 75 years ago on the foundations of the ideals of a more just and free world.

He stressed that although the Declaration has not been able to end human rights violations to date, it is one of the basic pillars of humanity’s struggle for a dignified life.

He added that many regions of the world witness human rights violations on International Human Rights Day.

He added that hostility to Islam and anti-foreigners in Western societies is at the forefront of the threats facing human rights.

He pointed out that the segment most affected by discriminatory, fascist, xenophobic, and racist practices are undoubtedly Muslims, who constitute the largest percentage of immigrants.

The Turkish President added that the term terrorism and terrorists has turned into a cover for attacking Islam, insulting Muslims, and killing innocent people.

He touched on the attack on a mosque in New Zealand 4.5 years ago during Friday prayers and the martyrdom of 51 people, pointing out the extent to which hostility to Islam can reach.

He added that attacks against Muslims and immigrants were not limited to these only, but continued to spread in parts of the world such as Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asian countries.

He went on to say: “We can never forget the tragedy of George Floyd, who died while saying, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe’… We also saw how the waves washed the body of the child Aylan to the shore. The death of the child Aylan did not awaken the consciences of Western countries.”

President Erdogan stressed that Western countries have legitimized and encouraged anti-Islamic and anti-Muslim actions under the pretext of “freedom of thought.”

He explained, “The increasing incidents of barbarism and the escalating cries of innocent people (in Gaza) are indicators that we are approaching a turning point.”

He stressed that the Israeli government, which enjoys unlimited support from Western countries, is committing brutal atrocities and massacres in Gaza that would make all of humanity feel ashamed.

He renewed talk about the possibility of “establishing a more just world,” adding: “But not with the United States because it stands with Israel.”

He expressed his regret over the failure of the UN Security Council to pass a draft resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza due to the United States’ use of its veto, asking: “Can there be justice like this?”

President Erdogan continued: “We once again saw the reality that ‘the world is bigger than five’ and the Security Council must be reformed.”

He pointed out that the UN Security Council has transformed into a council to protect Israel since October 7th.

He stressed that “from now on, humanity cannot say that the United States is a country that supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”

He stressed that the “butchers of Gaza” must pay the price for their crimes against humanity before international courts, expressing his belief that this will be achieved, God willing, sooner or later.

He added that humanity cannot make any progress with the United Nations and the UN Security Council in their current form.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the country’s exports in the last 12 months until October amounted to $254.8 billion.

This came in a speech on Friday at the “Innovalig Champions” awards ceremony (a program for developing innovation in Turkey) at the Gulf Convention Center in Istanbul.

President Erdogan expressed their pride in all the companies that contribute to production, employment and export in Turkey, especially the champions of “Innovalig”.

He pointed out that the regular increase in the number of companies applying to the Innovation Development Program every year shows that the culture of innovation is beginning to take root in the business world.

President Erdogan pointed out that Turkey’s annual exports were only $36.1 billion in the year the Justice and Development Party came to power (2002).

He noted that the value of exports amounted to 254.2 billion dollars in the last 12 months, and with this rate of increase, Turkey became third among the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in terms of the speed of increasing exports.

He pointed out that despite all the difficulties and problems at the global level, Turkey’s exports continue their upward trend.

He pointed out that exports set a new record last October, increasing by 7.4 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reaching $22.9 billion.

He added, “Thus, we were pleased to reach the highest export value in the month of October. Thus, our exports in the last 12 months until October amounted to 254.8 billion dollars.”

President Erdogan stressed that increasing exports in terms of numbers is certainly important, but during the coming period the focus must be on increasing quality as well.

He noted that they want to achieve successes in the fields of missiles, ships, armored vehicles, cameras, air defense systems, and electronic warfare, similar to the country’s successes in the field of drones.
