Seven people from two Muslim families were killed in a fire that broke out in an apartment building in Chestermere, Alberta, Canada.
Imam Syed Suhrawardi of the Supreme Islamic Council of Canada said in a Friday statement that the two families were in the house at the time of the fire.

He pointed out that the fire killed 7 people, including 4 children, and added that 5 people managed to escape from the building and save their lives.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the investigation is continuing to find out its causes.
