The city of Amasra, in the northern Turkish province of Bartın, received 1,051 Russian tourists who came from the city of Sochi on board the giant cruise ship “Astoria Grande”.
The ship, which is 193 meters long, 30 meters wide, and consists of 11 floors, arrived on Wednesday in the city of Amasra, the tourist center of the city of Bartın, famous for its nature and sea, with 1,051 passengers and a crew of 426 people on board.
The Russian tourists were received by the city’s mayor, Kadir Bertı, the mayor of the city, Recai Cakir, and other local officials.
Brochures in Russian were distributed to the tourists at the port exit, including an introduction to the most prominent tourist attractions in the city.
The ship is expected to move this evening towards the province of Samsun.
