The Turkish drone “AKINCI TİHA” set a record in the history of Turkish aviation by flying at an altitude of 38,39 feet in the flight performance and altitude test.
The Turkish company, Baykar, which developed the march, said in a statement on Thursday that the test succeeded in achieving the highest height for the first time of the locally developed march, reaching 38,039 feet (11,594 meters).

It added that “AKINCI TİHA” remained in the sky for 25 hours and 46 minutes, and traveled a distance of 7,507 kilometers in the air.
And last April, the Turkish Presidency’s Defense Industries Corporation announced the success of the test of a smart domestic munition “MAM-T” for unmanned aerial vehicles after it was launched from an “AKINCI TİHA” aircraft.
And “AKINCI TİHA”, which is at the forefront of high-tech drones around the world, capable of carrying local missiles and munitions, whether conventional or laser-guided.
It is also reported that Bayraktar TB2 set a record height of 27,30 feet, on a test flight in Kuwait on July 17, 2019.
And it managed to stay in the air for 27 hours and 3 minutes in difficult conditions of high temperatures and sandstorms.
