Turkish paratrooper Viman Ogdon flew over the pyramids of Egypt carrying her country’s flag on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.

Ogdon parachuted from a height of 4,500 meters during the skydiving festival held above the Egyptian pyramids, one of the wonders of the world.

He pointed out that the Turkish athlete carried her country’s flag after jumping over the pyramids to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic.

Ogdon expressed her happiness and pride in being the first Turkish woman to fly over the world-famous pyramids in Egypt on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic.

Turkey celebrates “Republic Day” on October 29 of each year, which is the anniversary of the declaration of the republic by its founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, in 1923.
