4 Turkish ports occupied a place in the list of the 100 best ports in the world, according to the classification of the prestigious British periodical “Lloyd’s List”.
And the Turkish Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Oraloglu, said in a statement to the ministry on Sunday that the classification shows the strength of Turkey’s maritime trade and its global competition.
According to the 2022 classification, Ambarli Port in Istanbul ranked 74th, Kocaeli Port 89th, Mersin 92nd, and Tekirdag 100th.
The classification issued by the prestigious magazine is a very important factor for international investors to know the extent of the logistical capabilities of any country.
