Turkish security forces arrested 16 irregular migrants in a vehicle in the northwestern Kocaeli province.
A statement issued by the Kocaeli State Security Directorate on Saturday said that security forces stopped a commercial vehicle on a highway in the state.

The statement added that the security forces arrested 16 migrants who were inside the vehicle, and it was found that they had entered the country illegally.
The statement indicated that the security forces handed over the migrants to the Immigration Directorate in the state, and arrested the driver of the vehicle.
